I have been singing and playing since the age of 11, having been influenced by my father, who was a singer and a drummer. My musical career really began at the age of 19, when I was asked to join a rock band. Over the years since, I have played in various rock and wedding bands, and have performed in a wide range of venues, including singing in musical theater.
In addition, I was often asked to perform at the Black Potato Festival, on one occasion playing the Melanie set
for a Woodstock revival.
Securing a job at a local music store offered me an opportunity hone my skills and experiment with other instruments, such as drums and bass guitar. For approximately 9 years, I taught guitar, piano, vocals, and ukulele, and facilitated bands with my students filling on drums or bass as needed.
In recent years, I have been performing with a jazz trio at various venues, doing a combination of jazz, pop and blues, However, while I enjoy performing, my first love is teaching.
